Foundation Contributions Continue

Over the years, the Foundation has enjoyed the loyalty of many industry leaders, from participating through volunteering on committees and the board to providing monetary contributions. “I am always struck at the dedication and commitment our contributors display year after year, even during lower economic points,” said Foundation President Lisa Levine. “We receive gifts from both corporations and individuals, regularly, which has allowed the Foundation to continue to produce – and even grow – our research library.”
Cameron W. Krueger, Vice President of Capgemini, Financial Services/ Banking and Capital Markets, is one such contributor who has personally given donations to the Foundation for the last five years.
He says, “For someone who really wants to stay abreast of the industry and learn what my customers are thinking about and dealing with, it’s the single best source of information. There is simply nowhere else to go for that type of information.”
He says that “the math” around contributing just makes sense, too. “From an out-and-out economic perspective, I get far greater research by contributing than if I bought every report.”
But, Krueger hastens to add, “regardless, it important to support the Foundation. The entire industry needs it. And, no matter who you are, you won’t find a better body of knowledge than what you’ll find in the Foundation’s library.”
Krueger says that the Foundation not only provides the most relevant information to his job, but also the highest quality.
He recalls submitting articles to the Foundation’s Journal of Equipment Leasing Finance in the past. “The editorial board is very disciplined about their editorial process. When I submitted some articles, I found them to be quite blunt. It gave me further appreciation for the Foundation’s quality focus.”
