The Foundation's academic outreach programs support industry efforts to attract the next-generation workforce to the equipment finance industry through university partnerships, campus recruiting visits, and academic scholarships.

University Partnerships

       

     

The Equipment Finance Curriculum at Arizona State University's W.P. Carey School of Business

This partnership between ASU and The Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation offers students comprehensive study of the equipment finance industry, beginning with a credit analysis course. ASU intends to expand relevant curriculum, offering elective courses covering industry-specific topics such as lease accounting and professional sales. The ultimate goal is to develop a certificate of study that complements a degree in finance or other business discipline.
   

Survey of Commercial Equipment Leasing & Finance at the G. Brint Ryan College of Business at the University of North Texas

This program is a collaboration with the Certified Lease & Finance Professional Foundation and the Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation and other industry partners to launch a course on commercial equipment finance. The course covers foundational concepts of equipment finance, origination, operations, and servicing areas. The Foundation provides financial support and resources for these programs and is a natural alignment with its mission of raising awareness for student talent development.

 

Academic Scholarships

The Foundation is proud to offer ten $5,000 scholarships annually. Because of this scholarship program, we have seen students gain interest in our industry and begin their careers in equipment finance. Learn more.
